The will of ‘Abd al-Karim Sahib Dihdashti, the merchant from Shiraz and son of Muhammad Ibrahim Dihdashti the merchant. Settlement and will of Haji Mulla Husayn, 1882
The document reads in part: Haji Mulla Husayn, the preacher, settled 1500 tumans and a man [three kilograms] of salt with his three sons, Aqa Mirza Muhammad Riza Khadim, Aqa Shaykh Muhammad Baqir, and Aqa Shaykh ʻAbd al-ʻAli. If the settlor dies, these sons, Shaykh Muhammad Baqir and Shaykh ʻAbd al-ʻAli, should, when their mother (Haji Mulla Husayn's permanent wife) is informed, pay the expenses for the burial, funeral, religious tithes and duties, and rawzah using the settled money with Aqa Muhammad Riza. Will of Haj Hamzah Aqa Tajir (merchant) from Tabriz, resident of Najaf, in which he gives one hundred tumans to his wife (daughter of Haj Shaykh Muhammad) for her mahr, three hundred tumans for purchasing a house for her, and allows her to keeps all her belongings including clothing, carpets, and household furnishings. He also determines one-third of his inheritance and allocates money to be spent for his funeral and religious duties including ablution, the funeral, prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, and charity. Travel journal
ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani's travel journal. ʻAlaviyah Khanum, ʻAli Khan and a few others went on Hajj and made pilgrimages to the shrines in Iraq. On the way back to Iran, she visited a number of cities including Tehran and the Nasiri Court. This travel journal was written by ʻAlaviyah Khanum Kirmani. On the first page of the book (this page was written by ʻAli Khan at the request of ʻAlaviyah Khanum), ʻAlaviyah Khanum noted that she wrote this book because she missed her husband and also to record these events in history.
